Industrial Steam Boiler has exciting news to share!
We are proud to report that ISB has recently received our HLW Stamp of approval from The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The HLW stamp from ASME now enables ISB to design and manufacture Domestic Hot Water Heaters and Domestic Hot Water Large Capacity Storage Tanks.
This new capability compliments ISB's already wide range of ASME Design Authorization, including H, U, R, and S Stamps.
The ASME first began issuing Pressure Vessel Certificates to boiler manufacturing companies to certify their quality control systems back in 1916. Every ASME-certified boiler has met the design, fabrication, assembly, and inspection codes established for boilers and pressure vessel components during construction.
In addition to our ASME certifications, ISB also maintains a repair certificate from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI) to perform repairs and alterations of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items throughout the New York Tri-State Area. This is the R you see stamped on our field-erected and packaged boilers.
